We Are Festival: Epic Sunday!

What a special bank holiday weekend.. And We Are Festival in Upminster on Sunday absolutely smashed it!

What at a great start to the festival season. I saw my all time love, Mr. Steve Angello, alongside many other house DJs that brought a whole day of music greatness.

The vibe was great, the day was hot, and I made lots of new and like minded festival going friends. Winning!

It’s a shame about the weather today, but I don’t really care as much now I’m back to work and sitting in an office ha.

Heres a few pics from my epic Sunday!

The Oscars 2016: Best Dressed

So the time has been and gone again, where the most sought after stars in showbiz step out in their glamorous gowns to battle it out for the title of the ‘Red Carpets best dressed.’

The Oscars 2016 will undoubtedly go down in history as the day Leonardo Di Caprio was finally recognised for his talent.

But more importantly, let’s talk about the glitz & glamour that was out in full force last night and let’s see who topped my Academy Awards best dressed list!

Don’t forget to have your say and comment your opinions below.

— Sexy —

Charlize Theron wowed as the lady in red in a simplistic yet striking gown.

The plunging neck line and open back cut showed off her stunning figure, while the glamorous train at the back added class to this sexy look.

— Stunning —

Cate Blanchett donned in an Armani teal coloured number that complimented her naturally pale skin tone.  The clusters of petals and feathers of this piece add a 3D texture to the simplistic design, while the crystals and metallic overlay creates a mermaid feel; bringing back happy childhood memories of watching The Little Mermaid.

— Sultry —

Jennifer Lawrence proves that black can be anything but boring in this fiery number that fits perfectly on her envious physique.

While the daringly exposed upper lace bodice doesn’t leave much to the imagination, the feathery, floor length bottom adds an element of fairytale glamour with its black swan design.

The contrasting textures of the dress compliment each other perfectly while raising obvious questions on how Jennifer wants her choice of fashion to be perceived.

— Sophisticated —

Lady Gaga is famed for her unique fashion decisions and the Oscars 2016 is no exception.

Why choose between a suit and a gown when you can have the best of both worlds right Gaga?

This fresh white strapless jumpsuit/gown ensemble adds a 21st century twist to dressing for success. While the colour adds innocence and angelic physiologies, the design proves that women can in fact sport the famous power suit without losing their femininity.

Who was on your best dressed list for the Oscars 2016?

Krabi: Aonang Beach Festival

This Friday and Saturday in Aonang, there’s been a great beach festival along the beachfront.   Food, music, culture and lots of stage performances, it appears we came at the right time!

I’m not 100% sure if there is a reason behind the festival, can anyone help?

I am aware that all the hotels around the area set up different stalls to sell things each year, but it may have traditionalised from somewhere?

Regardless, the atmosphere over the past few days has been buzzing.

I tried a ‘butterfly pea tea’, although I’d be lying if I said I’d enjoy the taste. I thought it was awful but glad I tried.

On the other hand the Indian chicken kebabs were absolutely amazing! So much so that the stall sold out just after us.

And I met some Geishas 😊

Here’s a few more pics from the night. If you’re in Krabi this time next year I’d recommend it!

A Nun at a rave..KISS Haunted Party

Now I have to say, I never thought I’d find myself dancing to Rudimental in a nun costume, nor did I think I’d ever hear the sentence, ‘thank you for letting me hold your cucumber’ on a train ride home. But when you put a cat, a skeletor nun and Jack the pumpkin king on a night out..surrounded by dead princesses, famed serial killers, zombies and the odd few sugar skull faces, what else can you expect?

Last night I went to the KISS Haunted House Party hosted at Wembley Arena. Absolutely unbelievable night!

The line up was very impressive and I don’t think i’ve ever been to a concert/festival where every single performer smashed it Live, until yesterday. Its hard to say who was my favourite. Rita Ora smashed it but Little Mix was the highlight of the night (and they looked amazing too!)

The Chingford BIG Weekender

FullSizeRender_1
But first, let me take a selfie..

It’s very rare that London hosts anything for free these days, let alone a festival, so when I got wind of the Chingford Weekender, held every year by Waltham Forest Council, it was just something that had to be added to my calendar.
