Masks are a great way to keep skin clear and healthy.

This ones exclusively for my Juiceplus ladies and gents as this facial is made from our Premium Capsules!
Our premiums are a mixture of 27 different fruit, vegetables and berries dried and compacted into a capsule for lots of natural goodness 💛

All you need to do is add Greek Yoghurt.
So all you do is; 
-Open up one of each premium capsules and put them into a bowl 

-Pour in half of a quarter of your pot of Greek yog into the Same bowl 

-AND MIX 😱

-Then apply and leave it on for 30 minutes 

-Add some cucumbers to your eyes 

-Relax………

Yes a whole 7 days devoted to indulging on baking cups filled with assorted sponges and light heavenly creams.

Just because you may be living healthily it doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on all the fun! The key to successful Healthy living is indulging every once in a while, and learning to make happier, healthier choices as a whole while still enjoying life and food!

Here’s a great cupcake recipe that you don’t have to feel guilty about, made especially with our Juiceplus chocolate powder and lots of dessert amazingness in between.

(No Juiceplus, no problem..just switch it for cocoa powder)

Chocolate Mocha Cupcake Recipe

12-14 CUPCAKES

Ingredients:

CUPCAKES

  • 1/2 cup (42g) Juiceplus chocolate powder
  • 3/4 cup (95g) of self-raising flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup of natural honey
  • 1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond milk

The Coffee fudge FROSTING

  • 1 cup cashew or macadamia nuts (110g)
  • 1/4 cup coffee powder (105g)
  • very scant 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 4 tsp pure maple syrup (10g)

Easy Peasy Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. Make the cupcakes:Whisk the powders and salt together in a large bowl until thoroughly combined. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, honey,  oil and vanilla together until completely smooth. Pour half of the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Then half of the almond milk. Gently whisk and  then
  3. Stir until *just* combined; do not over mix. The batter will be a little thin.
  4. Pour/spoon the batter into the liners – fill only halfway to avoid spilling over the sides

5.Bake in batches for 18-21 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

6. Allow to cool completely before frosting.

Make the frosting: 

Combine all ingredients together and whisk until creamy.

There are also many alterations you can make to mix it up a bit

Why not add some caramel extract to add a little sweetness?

Or if you’re not a fan of coffee, stick to just a simple vanilla frosting

Or try Mint extract, the options are endless!

For mini cupcakes: For around 36 mini cupcakes, line mini cupcake pans with liners or spray with nonstick spray. Prepare cupcakes and frosting as directed. Bake mini cupcakes for 12-13 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

#tastyin20 – Cheesy Meatballs!

Hi Everyone!

Here’s one of Liam and I’s most recent healthy dinners. Its all approved on our Juiceplus meal plan and has got to be up there with my top 3 so far – I’m loving the tomato based sauces at the mo!

This will feed 2-3…dependant on how greedy you are :o)

What you’ll need:

  • Coconut oil
  • Red Onion
  • Crushed Garlic
  • Tomato puree
  • Red cabbage
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Meatballs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Feta Cheese
  • Worchester Sauce

How you’ll do it:

Preheat the pan and grease in coconut oil while you chop away at everything that needs to be chopped

Add the onions and meatballs in the pan to start cooking, adding the garlic and cabbage a few minutes after.

Once the meatballs are brown, add all things tomatoey and the Worchester sauce into the pan.

imageLet it cook for a bit longer, giving it a good old stir along the way

Add your cheese and leave to melt.

Serve in the pan while piping hot..bon appetit!

 

Monday’s are for Positive Purple

Hi Everyone

I hope you’re all having a wonderful Monday!

I’m flying high this morning with these beautiful berry nails.. Do you like the colour?

I love it! Purple is my favourite because it’s super bright and positive. What’s you favourite colour?

Thanks to my Juiceplus berry capsules my nails are longer and stronger than ever. No more need for shellac or fake nails, so needless to say it saves me a fair bit of money on pampering; especially as this lovely nail varnish is actually from the pound shop would you believe?!

What a bargain!

Friday’s are for Pancakes!

Who 💚’s pancakes??

These are made from 1 scoop of vanilla Juiceplus, 1 banana and 1 egg. Simple!

(alternatively you can use any other protein powder)

Wack the mixture in a pan that’s based with lots of extra virgin olive oil and cook on a low heat.. Then flip!

Mine are drizzled in honey & topped with apple slices 🍎

Detox Day

Have you ever just felt like you really need a detox day?

This happens to me quite often. After a heavy weekend, or a really busy week; sometimes all you need is a day to completely chill, pamper yourself and rejuvenate before a new week starts. Sometimes its the key to good health!

Sundays are my favorite day to give my body those well needed nutrients; to refuel and set me up for the following week.

Why not try this 1 Day Detox Plan tomorrow, and see how it makes you feel?

Wake up and have a green tea with Lemon..

BREAKFAST (within 1 hour of waking)

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tbs. flaxseed
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 spinach
  • 1 Tbs Almond butter
  • 2 Tsp lemon juice

LUNCH

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1/2 green apple
  • 1/2 squeezed lime
  • 1 tbs melted coconut oil
  • 1 cup pineapple

DINNER

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup mango
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbs flaxseed

Chicken and tomato stir fry 

The following recipe is completely JuicePlus approved too 😊

Ingredients:

  • 2x chicken breasts
  • Seasoning
  • Peppers
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes
  • Basmati rice

Chop and season the chicken..

If you’re using fresh peppers and onions, chop them too (I used frozen)

Pop the veg and olive oil into a pan


Pop your rice in a separate pan to boil – I used Uncle bens 10 minute pouch but you could also get the microwaveable version too

Add the chicken..

Put 8-10 tomatoes into a blender with some salt and pepper and blend 

Once the chicken looks white, add the home made purée .. 

Leave to simmer for a further few minutes.

As the purée is quite runny, drain it from the contents and place into a separate jug..

Add the rice in with the chicken and veg then add the purée to find your desired consistency..

Pop into a bowl and eat!
