The Holi Festival of Colours

Since its launch in 2012, the Holi Festival of Colours has dominated the likes of Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam and last year on our home turf at Battersea Park. Its back this weekend to close the summer of 2015, and it’s right on our doorstep!     On Saturday 12th September, Queen Elizabeth’s Olympic Park in Stratford will become home to thousands of party goers for the day to dance to the likes of Booka Shade and Dubvision in the mix. It’s a festival with a twist, as whilst listening to some great DJ sets, guests can throw handfuls of Holi Gulal Colour Powder into the air and at their fellow festival goers

Described by previous guests as ‘indescribable’ and ‘exactly how life should be – full of colour’, the day sounds like one not to be missed. The forecast looks to be sunny too. The festival boasts an impressive line up of DJs including the dynamic female duo Nervo headlining.    Just a word of advice – Don’t forget to wear something white, cheap and cheerful as we doubt you’ll be wearing your outfit again..    Standard and package tickets range from just £25-35 and most of the tickets are believed to have been sold, so get in there quick and I hope to see you there tomorrow!  LwL x (This post has been featured on
