I’ve been in Ibiza for the past week to celebrate my cousins wedding and had such a lovely time. The island is famous for its all night partying and world renowned clubs, which is basically what I have spent the last 6 years doing while I’ve been holidaying there.
What a lot of people don’t know about Ibiza is that outside the obvious Playa Den Bossa and San Antonio party districts, the Island is homes to some beautiful places with some of the clearest waters in Europe.
A few highlights of my holiday:
Ocean Beach Club – San Antonio Bringing the Marbella-glam style partying to Ibiza. Ocean is pool party venue made up of round beds and lily pads for VIP style partying.
We went on the Tuesday to the Kisstory event for the Hen Party. What a day! Lots of champagne and daiquiris in the sun while dancing to some oldskool music, need I say more?
Cotton Beach Club – Cala Tarida Cala Tarida created the beautiful wedding setting and is a town to the West of the island. Cotton beach club, where the wedding was held, was filled with lots of white furniture and wicker decor and overlooking the sea! What a lovely backdrop for the pictures.
I have to admit my make up had to be reapplied several times and it was very hard to stay calm in the 29 degree heat but the fans were out in full force personalised for the Bride and Groom Sensatori Hotel – Cala Tarida I was very impressed with this idea… An Afternoon tea-type gathering the next day to eat all of the wedding cake with a few glasses of bubbly. As many brides may know, you pay hundreds of pounds on your wedding day for a cake and then it hardly gets eaten. What’s that about? So we spent the afternoon and evening stuffing our faces with cake and sandwiches and drinking tea, champagne and sangria at the 5* complex. Overall it was such a wonderful week with family and a holiday we haven’t had altogether for years. I made so many good memories and although I’m slightly depressed at the fact I’m now back to reality, I feel bless that I have such wonderful people in my life. LwL x
